Grace L. Bollhoefer, 90, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, June 29, 2015, in her daughter's home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Connie L. Brown of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Penny (Larry) Franck and Rick (Sharyn) Brown, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Alan (Treva) Tesar of Louisiana and Chris (Lori) Tesar of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Chalet, Nicole, Margot, Samantha, Harley, Blair, Breeane and Logan; stepgreat-grandchildren, Ryan Franck of Chicago, Ill., and Allison Sortland of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale M. Bollhoefer; daughter, Judy Boyle; son-in-law, Neal P. Brown; two sisters; and a brother.
Grace was born June 13, 1925, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Andrew and Verna (Hanson) Stribling. She married Dale M. Bollhoefer on Dec. 1, 1943, in Cedar Rapids. Grace was employed with Siebke & Hoyt Jewelry for 20-plus years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
