Zscherny, Theo F.
Theo F. Zscherny, 90, of Williamsburg, formerly of Middle Amana, died Monday, May 27 2013, at Marengo Memorial Hospital, Marengo, Iowa. Funeral Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, May 30, at the Middle Amana Community Church with Elder Peter Hoehnle presiding. Burial will be in the Middle Amana Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Middle Amana Church. A memorial fund has been established. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is in charge of arrangements.
Theo is survived by his wife, Lorraine; a son, Michael Zscherny (Barbara) of Ely; a daughter, Constance Bahr (Kenny) of Goshen, Ind.; six grandchildren, Jason Bahr of Fort Dodge, Andrew Bahr of Santa Barbara, Calif., Tiffany Arnett (Jason) of Fort Wayne, Ind., Lisa Brown (William) of Cedar Rapids, Amy Fulkerson (Dennis) of Lisbon and Chad Zscherny (Joy) of Des Moines; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Minnie Metz Zscherny; a sister, Leona Hill; and a brother, Henry.
