Charlotte Darlene Lambert, 78, of Marion, died Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Willow Gardens. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 31, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a daughter, Stacey (Michael) Koo of Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, Randall of Marion; a sister, Geraldine (Robert) Blazek of Marion; three grandchildren, Noah, Abram and Jesse; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin; and three brothers, Richard, Gerald and Steven Turner.
Charlotte was born Feb. 10, 1939, in La Porte City, the daughter of William Sherman and Charlotte Cole Turner. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
Charlotte enjoyed shopping and going to the casino. She was an excellent cook and baker; homemade pies were her specialty. She also had a flair for decorating. Her greatest joy, however, was the time spent with her beloved family.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society in Charlotte's name.
