Charlotte Knupp, 99, passed away at The Woodlands at The
Meth-Wick Community on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014.
A visitation will be from 5
to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Cedar Memorial Park
Funeral Home, with an
Eastern Star service at
7 p.m. Services will be
1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5,
at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, with
burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in the
Chapel Garden section.
Charlotte was born March 18, 1914, to Edward and Emma (Anderson)
Hanson in Benton County, Iowa. On Aug. 23, 1935, Charlotte married Howard Knupp in Vinton. Charlotte owned and operated Knupp's Flower and Craft store in Vinton for over 25 years.
Charlotte is survived by Byron (Mary) Knupp of Cedar Rapids and Norman (Sandra) Knupp of San Diego, Calif.; five grandchildren, Edward (Shalar) Knupp of Bettendorf, Ellen Knupp of Urbana, Daniel Knupp of Vinton, Debbie Knupp of Florida and Scott (Dawn) Knupp; six great- grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Williamson of Marshalltown.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; a daughter, Glenys Knupp; a son, Howard Thomas Knupp; and a brother, Myron
Hanson.
