Benson, Vicky Lynn
Vicky Lynn Benson, 56, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at her home in Mechanicsville from an apparent heart attack. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at the Dysart Cemetery in Dysart, with Pastor Ron Lashmilt officiating.
Vicky is survived by her husband, Jason, of Mechanicsville; three daughters, Diana (Chuck) Anderson of Clinton, Samantha (Shawn Ford) Benson of Lisbon and Heather (Tim) Lambert of Morley; one son, Jon Benson of Iowa City; her father, Wilbur Corcran Jr. of Vinton; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
