John David Beaurivage
David Beaurivage, 60, of Riverside, passed away suddenly on Sunday Dec. 4, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, with a visitation following from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kirkwood Room, 513 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City.

Dave was born on Jan. 2, 1951, to Rosemary Ryan and John Louis Beaurivage in Lincoln, Neb. Dave grew up in Lincoln and lived there until he attended Regis College in Denver, where he graduated with a B.S. in Business. Dave moved to Coralville, Iowa, in 1994. Dave was employed by Canon USA, where he managed a large Midwest territory which required much travel over the years.
Dave was an avid aviator, flying single and twin engine aircraft, hot air balloons and ultra lights. He was also a sky diver, where he held many records in the sport. Dave loved to play golf, to go camping in his RV, travel and he enjoyed history. Most of all, he loved and was very proud of all of his children.
Surviving David are his four children, Michael Beaurivage (Andria) of Lincoln, Neb., Natalie Beaurivage of Portland, Ore., Nicole and Sydney Beaurivage of Coralville; Dave's sister, Anne Beaurivage of Lincoln, Neb.; and Pierre (Pete), Beau (Jackie) of Lincoln, Neb.
Dave had four grandchildren, Creighton, Ryleigh, Reece, and Callan; and many nieces and nephews.
Dave will be missed.
