Kluth, Susan M.
Susan M. Kluth, 80, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Rock Ridge Care Center in Shellsburg. Funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2, with a visitation beginning at 8 a.m., at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.
Susan Marie Kluth was born Aug. 12, 1932, to Lloyd A. and Charlotte (Lintz) Sharp in Richmond, Iowa. She was the fourth of 10 children. She was united in marriage to Vernon Kluth on Dec. 20, 1963, in Cedar Rapids. He passed away in 2002. Susan loved playing Bingo, cards with relatives, and going to the casino. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church for many years.
Susan will be missed by many; she was a great sister and a good friend to all she met.
She is survived by her stepchildren, Pam (Tom) Kester and Dale Kluth, both of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Richard (Marie) Sharp and William Sharp, both of Chicago, Clement (Doloris) Sharp and Cletus Sharp, both of Cedar Rapids; sister, Rosella Stratton of Maquoketa; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Eugene and Lloyd C. Sharp; and two sisters, Margaret Soukup and Kathleen Cram.
