A Sioux City man accused of killing his wife during an argument has been sentenced to up to 25 years in prison.
Timothy Sohler pleaded guilty last month to attempted murder and willful injury causing serious injury. He was sentenced on Monday in Woodbury County District Court.
Sohler had been charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of his wife, Susan, in their home on Dec. 22, 2008. She was found in the kitchen.
Police say the couple's teenage daughter called 911.
