Dietrich, Ricky 'Ricky D'
Ricky “Ricky D” Dietrich, 50, died Monday, June 20, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a courageous battle. Friends may call at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton, on Thursday, June 23, from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clarke E. Frederick officiating.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley (Possehl) Dietrich; his four brothers, Jerry Dietrich of Cedar Rapids, Jim Dietrich of Norway, Terry (Karee) Dietrich of Newhall, and David Dietrich of Vinton; also his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Dietrich.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
