The people in Las Vegas casino management aren't sentimental types. Nor do they tend to pay much attention to what others deem as fact.
Michigan State is unbeaten and ranked fifth in the nation, but to Vegas it matters not. Wynn Las Vegas (feel free to start offering those fabulous comps, Mr. Steve Wynn) made 5-2 Iowa a 6-point favorite over the Spartans Saturday in Iowa City.
Keep in mind the Hawkeyes were 5.5-point picks over Wisconsin last Saturday.
Michigan State is 5-2 vs. the pointspread this year. Iowa is 4-2.
