Illinois woman in jet-ski crash on Coralville reservoir

An Illinois woman was treated for injuries she suffered Monday afternoon in a collision of two personal watercraft on the Coralville Lake.
Kristin Tuma, 27, of Crystal Lake, Ill., was taken by ambulance to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for treatment of a hip injury, according to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, which is investigating the collision.
Tuma was a passenger on a personal watercraft operated by Cory Bettis, 30, Shaumburg, Ill. It collided with another personal watercraft, which was operated by Matthew Radueshel, 22, of North Liberty. The watercraft collided as they were beginning to turn shortly after 2 p.m., the DNR said.
Radueshel was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance.
