Francis L. Pratt, 72,
of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at his home. Services at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Marks' Lutheran Faith and Life Center. Burial at Jordan's Grove Cemetery near Central City. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Judy; a son, Jason (Lori) of Center Point; a daughter, Tami Myers of Cedar Rapids; his mother, Ida Pratt; brother, Ron (Tammie Pokorny); and a sister, Louise (Rod) Brecke, all of Cedar Rapids. He also is survived by four grandchildren, Tanner and Delani Myers and Hayden and Jessica Pratt and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Fran was born on March 25, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Merle and Ida Enabnit Pratt. He married Judith L. Clausen on June 11, 1965, in Bloomfield, Neb. Fran was a CPA and worked for several Cedar Rapids companies.
He was a faithful member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing golf, mushroom hunting and was an avid Hawkeye fan. His greatest joy however was time spent with his family.
Fran was a wonderful husband, father, son and grandfather whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial has been established.
