Vernon George-Benhard Helgens, 98, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, May 7, 2015. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church in Monticello. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Satur-day at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids and after 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the church in Monticello.
