GLEN E. HOOD

Glen E. Hood, 68, a resident of Heritage Nursing and Rehab, died there Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016. Services: 9 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, where friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include a nephew, Erick (Tiffany) Hood of Wilton; a grandniece, Jayde; and a grandnephew, Byron.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Byron.
Glen was born Nov. 3, 1947, in Atlantic, the son of Everette and Lois Clark Hood. He graduated from North High School in Lincoln, Neb., in 1965.
Glen was an avid Hawkeye football fan and a former member of Oakland Church of the Nazarene.
He enjoyed playing chess, card and board games, going for long walks and especially the time spent with his family and friends.
A memorial has been established.
