IOWA CITY - Samir “Sam” E. Bishara, 74, of Iowa City, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 3650 Cottage Grove Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. Fred Shaheen officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Oakland Cemetery, Iowa City. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City, where a Trisagion prayer service will be held at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. George Church or the UI Foundation for the College of Dentistry.
