C. Maxine Exline, 95, of Overbrook, Kan., formerly of Marion, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Garden of Tranquility.
Maxine was born Oct. 19, 1920, in Dunbar, Iowa, to Harvey and Fanny (Grosvenor) Miller.
She was a member of First Baptist of the Brethren Church in Cedar Rapids. She was employed at K-Mart for 10 years as a retail clerk.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. Maxine enjoyed crocheting and macramé.
She is survived by her children, Betty Bowers, Pat Pierce and Tim Pierce; seven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Hollis Pierce, Ralph Burden and Ronald Exline; sisters, Iola Thorn, Mildred Colman and Pearl Cancillo; brothers, Vernon and Howard Miller; and son-in-law, Earl Bowers.
Memorial donations in Maxine's name may be directed to American Cancer Society.
