Video 1 - QB C.J. Beathard
, I called him 'Jake” once today. He said it was cool. It probably won't be the last time. I probably will make that mistake again.
CJB's grandfather, Bobby, was a successful NFL GM in the 1980s and ‘90s (I think he went into the 1990s). C.J. Beathard remembered his grandfather's stops in Atlanta and San Diego. He said meeting Chargers LB Junior Seau was a thrill.
Video 2 - Beathard was asked to stand up and say hello in his 'Arts of Africa” class. He said it was embarrassing. Cool teacher, good teacher, just wasn't ready for it. LB Quinton Alston
pointed him out.
He's just going to approach the week the same way.
