Barbara J. Harford, 75, of Marion, died Sunday, May 31, 2015. Graveside services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her sister, Delores Halstead of Arkansas; her children, Lela (Arthur) Kistner of Marion, Mark (Deb) Miersen of Blairstown, Dale Miersen of Coralville and Kenny (Robin) Harford Jr. of Earlville; her stepchildren, Danielle (Craig) Horak of Marion, Jeanine (Ken) Rathje of Anamosa, James (Bridgette) Harford of Anamosa and Cathy (Tim) Medlin of Cedar Rapids; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian Miersen; and husband, Kenneth L. Harford.
Barbara was born April 20, 1940, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Sam and Ruth Armstrong. She married Kenneth L. Harford on Jan. 31, 1964, in Iowa City, Iowa.
