Toney, Wayne Douglas
Wayne Douglas Toney, 76, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, following a lingering illness. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, at the Hrabak Funeral Home by the Rev. Jack Andrews. A private family burial will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, rural Belle Plaine, with military rites. Visitation will be from 11:30 a. m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Shamley of Apache Junction, Ariz.; brothers, Robert (Doreen) and David (Lois) of Belle Plaine; and sisters, Charlene (Allen) Jacobs, Kay Toney, Jeannie Moore and Janice Hinkel, all of Belle Plaine, Shirley (Gary) Blomme of Montrose, Judy Cronbaugh of Cedar Rapids, and Brenda Toney of Marengo.
