Roadblock to peace in Palestine is religion

The real chief roadblock to peace in Palestine is the premise, asserted by the millions of Germans, Poles and Slavs who poured into Palestine after World War I, that their religion entitles them to as much of Palestine as U.S. arms and financing enable them to take. The notion that the invaders can rightfully dictate the terms under which the native Palestinians obtain national sovereignty is a racist as it is specious.
