Mayor Bouska puts city of Marion first

I am writing in response to Kay Lammers' Dec. 27 guest column “Marion group drags down city.” Great job!
I have lived in Marion for more than 30 years. I was thrilled to see Mayor Allen Bouska elected. It was quite evident from the very beginning of his term that there was a preconceived agenda against him in place. Mayor Bouska definitely had his work cut out for him. I think he is doing an outstanding job for the city of Marion. Unlike others, he puts the city first. Unlike others, personal vendettas are not his main agenda. Unlike others, he does not resort to bullying (re: he (Bouska) had better work with us). He has respect for the title of mayor.
Do the members of the Citizens for a Better Marion have children or grandchildren? Whether of school age or not, I wonder what they are being taught regarding bullying or being a gracious loser. Obvious, isn't it?
Enough said! Keep up the good work, Mayor Bouska.
