Jones, Betty L.
Betty L. Jones, 85, of 1307 30th St. SE, Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. No services will be held. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Leeann Hildenbrand and Michael Jones; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Miller and Harold Miller; and sisters, Janet Long, Twila Miller, Ida Mae Leib and Ruth Clubb.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Marcus Jones; five brothers and one sister.
Born Feb. 5, 1926, in Kinross, Iowa, Betty was the daughter of Emery and Gladys (Carter) Miller. She was united in marriage to Raymond Jones. He died in 1986. Betty worked as a cosmetologist.
