Darlene Evelyn (Schropp) Byrn, 78, of Conroy, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, Iowa, with the Rev. James Parks officiating. Burial: Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Iowa. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
Darlene is survived by her husband of 56 years, Francis; daughter, Mary (Andy) Adams of Conroy; son, Rick (Dianne) Byrn of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Bonnie (Chris) Tibai of Michigan, Bradley (Lacey) Ivy II of Chelsea, Marcus (Brenda) Adams of Kansas City, Kan., and Danielle Byrn of Williamsburg; two great-grandchildren, Misty Adams of Conroy and Lilly Adams of Michigan; four stepgreat-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; four sisters, Beverly, Carol Ann, Peggy and Marilyn; and four brothers, Eugene, Tom, Jim and John.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ronnie and Donnie; a sister, Mary Lou; and an infant daughter, Rhonda Sue.
