Actions, not words, determine course

To the editor:
We are like sheep, aren't we? Too often we follow the flock and leave outsiders to the 'wolves”. Donald Trump seems to be a suitable victim at this time. We forget that personalities are individualized and should not devalue actions. Actions of leaders determine the course of a nation. Trump is a man of action whereas talk is like the wind, blowing in all directions and ending up probably right where it started.
I'd like to have either Bobby Jindal, Scott Walker, Ted Cruz or Dr. Ben Carson as president with Trump in charge of finance and foreign affairs. What a great cabinet those, of this group, not elected as president would make. But voters would have to forget party lines, media persuasions, and family trends and consider their records before they thought of running for president. Yes, we'd have to think for ourselves, how refreshing.
If these men love the U.S. Constitution enough to put their own ambitions aside and work together for the sake of that unique document, America could be returned to a Constitutional Republic form of government. The year 2016 will offer that opportunity.
You recognize conservatives here. But remember we've tried the progressive's ideas before and after Ronald Reagan, and the world is falling apart. Some of the media try their best to make us fear conservatism, but it is no more and no less than constitutionalism and a free people's life's blood.
