Robert A. Barnes, 65, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center. Celebration of Life services will be at a later date. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Pat; a son, Cody; daughter, Jodi Wise; two brothers, Jay and Al; two sisters, Judy and Edna; three grandsons, Anthony, Nick and Jake; and four granddaughters, Dez, Mandy, Ashley and Brittiny. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Amy. Bob was a born April 26, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Albert and June Cooper Barnes. He married Patricia N. Northrup in 1982 in Cedar Rapids. Bob was a truck driver in the Cedar Rapids area for many years. He enjoyed music and playing his guitar.
