Stimpson, Betty Lorraine
Betty Lorraine Stimpson, 83, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at her daughter's home in Cedar Rapids surrounded by her family. Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 5, at the Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. Pastor Al Polito will officiate at the service. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be at a later date.

Surviving are her children, Linda (Roger) Lange of Anamosa, George Stimpson of Anamosa, Christine Becicka of Cedar Rapids, Thomas Stimpson of Anamosa, Gene Stimpson of Morley and Shirley Adney of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Onalee Galli of Cedar Rapids and Connie Jean Howe; and ex-husband, John Stimpson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Wilma Kellogg, Beulah Power and Donna Jones; and two brothers, William (Jr.) Hagerman and Ronnie Huerst.
Betty Lorraine Stimpson was born Aug. 12, 1929, in Coggon, Iowa. She was the daughter of William and Bessie Taylor Hagerman. Betty was a homemaker and treasured the time she was given to spend with her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and bird watching.
