Lundgren, Jerry Karl
Jerry Karl Lundgren, 52, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Celebration of Life will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at The Avacentre at Brosh Chapel.
Jerry was born Jan. 23, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Ivan Lester and Beulah Annabelle (Wilson) Lundgren. Jerry was a finish trim carpenter for many years, working in the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area. He enjoys hunting, mushrooming, fishing, boating and riding his motorcycle.
Jerry is survived by a sister, Ruth Ann Swick and Tom Meyer of Hull, Ill.; nephews and nieces; very special friends, Del and Claire Leverington and Chase Palmer; his beloved dog Tanner; as well as many friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim Lundgren; and a niece, Jamie Lynn Sells.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Jerry's name.
