Kepler, Janet F.
Janet F. Kepler, 63, a resident of Shellrock Care Center, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at the care center. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Urbana.
Survivors include her children, James Kepler Jr., Jody Ginther and Julie (Doug) Bluhm; her grandchildren, Ashley Ginther, Anthony Ginther, Kenneth J. Ginther, Eric Bluhm, Jeremy Ginther, Katie Kepler, Elizabeth Bluhm and Hunter Kepler; one brother; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, James.
Janet was born Dec. 16, 1947, the daughter of Elmer and Beulah (Lint) Neal in Shellsburg, Iowa. On May 29, 1965, she was united in marriage to James Kepler. He died June 26, 2010. A homemaker, Janet enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.
