Roberta Mae Denneson, 50, of Cedar Rapids, went to be with Jesus on May 25, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Memorial services: 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, at Cornerstone Church, 925 Blairs Ferry Rd., Marion, IA 52302, with the Rev. Matt Proctor officiating.
Survivors include her guardian, Jolene Kirk-patrick; good friend, Mary Hand; and all her friends and family at Options and Discovery Living.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Roberta was born Dec. 21, 1964, the daughter of Robert and Beulah (Smith) Denneson, in Knoxville, Iowa. She enjoyed attending Camp Courageous in the summer and looking at her books. One of her favorite songs to sing was, "Jesus Loves Me."
Memorial donations may be directed to Discovery Living or Cornerstone Church in memory of Roberta.
