Douglas C. Sutphin, 80, died Thursday, July 9, 2015, at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center following a sudden illness. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 13, at Hrabak Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carol Traver
officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday, with military rites. Cremation will follow the service.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy; son, Terry (Deanna) Sutphin of Belle Plaine; daughters, Wanda (Don) Ward of Belle Plaine and Debra Cecil (Rick Sayers) of Pilot Grove, Mo.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Beulah Sutphin; sister, Bonnie Doty; and brother-in-law, Deryl Doty.
