Kasner, Beulah A.
Beulah A. Kasner, 81, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha after a short illness. Per Beulah's request there will be no services.
Survivors include three sons, Richard and Steve Ellis, both of Cedar Rapids, and John Ellis of Longwood, Fla.; two daughters, Arlene Ellis of Marion and Barbara Koch of Cedar Rapids; a brother, James Kasner of Kansas City, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Beulah was born Sept. 14, 193,1 in Cedar Rapids. She worked in housekeeping at St. Luke's Hospital and retired from there after many years of service.
Beulah enjoyed sewing, embroidery, gardening and especially the time spent with her beloved family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Beulah will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial fund has been established.
