VIRGINIA A. "GIN" MAZURE
Marysville, Mich.
Virginia A. "Gin" Mazure, 90, of Marysville, Mich., died Sunday, July 15, 2018, surrounded by her family.
She was born April 18, 1928, in Harbor Beach, to the late Roman and Grace Dropiewski. She married Melvin Mazure on Aug. 21, 1948, in Helena. He died Oct. 18, 2007.
Mrs. Mazure was employed in the insurance business for many years. She
was a longtime member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross Clowns, member of the Red Hat Society, and enjoyed camping, traveling, playing cards and wintering in Florida.
She is survived by four children, Randal Lee (Mary Rose) Mazure, Gail Marie Farquhar, Marybeth (Steve) Schneider and Saundra (Steve) Warsinske; 11 grandchildren, David (Kim) Mazure, Patricia (Patrick) Andersen, Rebecca (Joe) Hicks, Katherine (Jeff) Marsland, Richard and Kristy Farquhar, Virginia (Kevin Parrott) Schneider, Nick Schneider, Allison (Joel) DeHaan, Kelly and Lauren Warsinske; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Gentner and Pauline (Ronald) Smarch; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Joel (Sandy) Mazure; son-in-law, Ian Farquhar; sister, Sharon Torello; and brother-in-law, Joseph Gentner.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, in St. Christopher Catholic Church in Marysville with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. James Arwady will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
