DONALD D. LANGFITT

Donald D. Langfitt, 84, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital. A visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Donald D. Langfitt was born July 25, 1933, the son of Orland W. and Naomi (Brown) Langfitt. Donald proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was united in marriage to Linda Hines on Sept. 3, 1983, in Cedar Rapids. He enjoyed woodworking and cars. He was a very hard worker. But most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother; and sister, Alma Bethune.
Left to cherish Donald's memories are his wife, Linda Langfitt; two children, Donna (Steven) Smith and Terry (Cathy) Langfitt; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Robert (Nancy) Langfitt, Earl (Sandy) Langfitt, Betty Bramow, Opal Miller and MarJean Korff.
A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Donald's name.
