Kaplan, Carol L.
Carol L. Kaplan, 73, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at her home following a lingering illness. Joint services for Carol and husband James will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hrabak Funeral Home, Belle Plaine, by the Rev. Charles Johnson. Burial will be in Rector Cemetery, Chelsea. Joint visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She is survived by daughters, Beverly Glotfelty (Bruce Gapster) of Marengo, Judy (Nick) Simmons of Victor, and Peggy (Gary) Carleton of Cedar Rapids; sons, Ken (Sarah) Kaplan of Victor, and Jim (Wendy) Kaplan of Marengo; sister, Deb (John) Sheda of Independence; brother, Jerry Veit of Chelsea; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
