No room in the inn for Labor Center at UI

One of the largest structures on the University of Iowa campus is the classroom facility dedicated to the tooling of students into interchangeable parts that fit well into the service of those with capital assets that afford them great economic and political power. This in comparison to many whose major, and in many cases only, asset consists of human toil.

This prominent campus structure is commonly referenced as the business building. And though each and every citizen of the state and nation is in business, for himself or herself and dependent loved ones, of securing food, clothing, shelter and enough rest and leisure to keep going and to find it worthwhile to do so, there apparently is not enough room in this great edifice to house and operate a Labor Center, scheduled to be axed in the name of cost cutting.

To anyone that finds the above comment mistakenly tinged with democratic socialism, it can be pointed out that there is no such thing as democratic capitalism that operates on a Golden Rule that if you got the gold you rule. Well maybe not directly, but you got the loot to own the best public servants that money can buy, all of one political party, and increasing too much of the entire political process.
