Johnson, Charlotte

Charlotte Johnson, 99, of New Braunfels, Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died July 20, 2012, at Santa Christa Hospital in New Braunfels. Private services will be held at a later date.

Survivors include her children, Carole (Marshall) Kuentz and Larry Johnson; grandson, Steven Brown (Michelle); great-grandchildren, Jennifer Traficant, Meagan and Danielle Brown, Angela and Michael Stolte, Darcy Howard and Andera Cusack; and great-great-grandchildren, Eira Traficant and Saylor Stolte.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Johnson; son, Ronald Johnson; granddaughters, Julie Sigmundi and Diane Stolte; great-grandson, Jason Sigmundi; great-granddaughter, Justin; and eight brothers and sisters.

Charlotte was born in Buffalo Center, Iowa, on May 10, 1913. She moved to Cedar Rapids in her childhood and then moved to Texas in 1994.

We will all miss her a lot as we had her a long time. She had a cute sense of humor and was a great grandma and mother.
