Bos, Rory 'Peaches'
Rory “Peaches” Bos, 26, died Sunday, March 27, 2011, of injuries suffered in an auto accident near Shellsburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton, with Pastor Rick Gail officiating. Private committal services will be held. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
Rory, who was known as “Peaches” to family and friends, was born Nov. 1, 1984, at Cedar Rapids, to Richard and Julie (Squires) Bos.
He was employed as a screen printer at Showbiz Screen Printing in Cedar Rapids.
Rory is survived by his parents, Richard and Julie Bos of Shellsburg; his children, Lyniann and Ryder; his brothers, Randy (Trish) Bos of Marion, and Russell (Christine) Bos of Shellsburg; his paternal grandmother, Alice Kloppenburg of Cedar Rapids; his maternal grandparents, Everett and Darlene Squires of Center Point; his maternal great grandmother, Elsie Sanders of Cedar Rapids; and a number of nieces and nephews.
