CONNIE (WHITE) KIMBALL
Shellsburg
Connie Marie (White) Kimball, formerly of Shellsburg, entered the presence of her Lord Jesus on Nov. 13, 2016, in Mesa, Ariz.
The daughter of Boyd and Lena White, Connie was born in rural Shellsburg on April 22, 1943, and graduated from Shellsburg High School in 1961. She was married to Charlie Kimball in 1973, and had resided in Arizona since that time. He preceded her in death in 2002.
Connie and Charlie were avid sports fans and had season tickets to ASU baseball and football games for many years. They attended many College World Series games in Omaha, Neb., where they developed many friendships.
Connie was a member of Apache Wells Community Church in Mesa, where she served faithfully for many years. Her humble servant's heart assisted friends and neighbors in many ways.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lonnie, in 1967; and a sister, Diana Booth, in 1989.
She is survived by four brothers, Marlyn (Luana), Ron (Bonnie) and Dan (Raejean) of Iowa and Gary (Vicki) of Arizona; and three sisters, Marian (Carl) Kahler and Janette (Dennis) Koch of Iowa and Barbara White of Arizona.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Apache Wells Community Church, Mesa.
Memorials may be sent to ASU Foundation-Athletics (specify baseball).
