Beverly Lyons, 63, of Milan, Ill., formerly of Shellsburg, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Trinity Hospital, Rock Island, Ill. Celebration of Life will be 3 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at the Vinton Legion.
Survivors include her husband, Clayton "Dale" Lane; children, Tonda (Don) Needham of Hannaford, N.D., Brian (Heidi) Lyons, Shellsburg, and Lisa (Kevin) Steele, Milan, Ill.; brother, Tom Harrelson; sister, Anna Marie Kibbie; 13 grandchilden and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Virginia Harrelson; and siblings, Merlene Naylor and Merle Harrelson.
Born Jan. 23, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Beverly was the daughter of Roy and Virginia (Cook) Harrelson. In August 1999, she married Clayton "Dale" Lane in Moline, Ill.
Beverly was a homemaker, but also had managed the mobile home park, where she had lived in Shellsburg. She enjoyed genealogy, crocheting and reading. Beverly cherished her time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
