Letter: Ashley Hinson will lead with character

Character matters when it comes to our elected representatives and I'm proud to say I support Ashley Hinson for State House. I've witnessed her commitment to community, as she serves in many roles with non-profit organizations. She is a solution-driven, positive person, which is exactly what we need in Des Moines.

I've known Hinson for nearly a decade and know her priorities are our priorities. She has the endorsement of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry and knows what it takes to make businesses flourish and grow. As a small-business owner, I trust and know Hinson will make good decisions that will help Iowa businesses grow and succeed.

She also has incredible ability to manage many demanding roles. She's a mother, a wife, has a job and has knocked on thousands of doors, meeting with voters at the grass roots level during her campaign. The tenacity she's shown me is inspirational and I'm proud to say I support her. A vote for Hinson is a vote for hard work and positive leadership.
