LeGrand, James Victor
James Victor LeGrand, 61, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Nov. 28, 2011, after a short battle with cancer. Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, with visitation on Friday, Dec. 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
James was born Sept. 25, 1950, in Holy Cross, Iowa, to Albert P. and Rita LeGrand. James graduated from Lisbon High School, and then married his high school sweetheart, Beverly Ford, on July 5, 1969.
James was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one nephew and two nieces.
James is survived by his wife of 42 years, Beverly, of the home; children, Christie Michael (John) and Randy LeGrand (PattiJo); four grandchildren, Christopher, Taylor, Heather and Anna; sister, Jean Fagen (Ed); two brothers, Jerry LeGrand (Rose) and Allen LeGrand (Stephany); and a life long companion, Missy.
