Myers, James Delbert
James Delbert Myers, 82, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Keokuk Area Hospital, Keokuk. Graveside inurnment: 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Bill Harnish. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
James was preceded in death by his parents and sister.
James was born Aug. 28, 1927, and was raised in Cedar Rapids. He was a member of the Eagles Club and a good bowler. He was a cabdriver for Century Cab.
He was a good hearted man and will be deeply missed by his caretaker of 10 years, Jennie Hoff, and her son, Dekota.
