Koba, LaVonne M.
LaVonne M. Kouba, 84, of Belle Plaine, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Sunrise Hill Care Center, Traer, from complications of dementia. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Christ United Methodist Church by the Rev. James Campbell. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Arrangements are with the Hrabak Funeral Home.
She is survived by sisters, Evelyn (Kenneth) Feuerbach of Van Horne, Eleanor Andresen of Belle Plaine, Genevieve Kromminga of Keystone, and Beverly Wentworth of Mason City; brother, Duane (Marilyn) Konicek of Belle Plaine; special niece, Allison (Mike) Bachelder of Belle Plaine; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose Konicek; husband, Milo; sisters, Violet Cox, Maxine Podhajsky and Patricia Fry; and brothers, Marvin, Donald and Harold Konicek.
