Iowa men beat Alabama

Iowa's bench outscored Alabama by 26 points as the Hawkeyes beat the Crimson Tide 55-47 at the Paradise Jam Classic in the Virgin Islands today.

Iowa (2-2) sank 20 of 32 free throws, while Alabama hit just 7-of-9. Alabama outscored Iowa 30-16 in the paint.

Zach McCabe led Iowa with 13 points, while Eric May scored 12. Bryce Cartwright added 10.
