Kinney is someone you can count on

I think we are all tired of hearing and seeing the ads, both positive and negative for political candidates. I think what we all want to hear and know is the candidate going to do what is best for me or will they do what is best for themselves and their party. As a Republican and treasurer for Democrat Kevin Kinney who is running for Iowa State Senate Seat District 39, I know that he will work in the best interests of the constituents that he represents, regardless of the political affiliation of the issue.
Isn't it time that we vote for the person rather than the party? He shows a compassion for the people he serves, whether is it via the school board, law enforcement, farmer or neighbor – he is someone that you can count on to do what he feels is right and will represent the district well in Des Moines. I stand behind him in his efforts to proudly represent the people of District 39.
