EUNICE M. FIER
Maquoketa
Eunice M. Fier, 89, of Maquoketa, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue. Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Maquoketa where a visitation will be held one hour before the service. A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa where a Catholic Daughters rosary will be recited at 3:45 p.m. Burial will be held in the Sugar Creek Cemetery in Sugar Creek.
Those left to cherish her memories are three children, Mary Jo (Jim) Kloft of Anamosa, Allen (Sally) Fier of Charlotte and Ronald Fier and his special friend, Mary Jo Cook, of Maquoketa; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian Dondlinger and Esther (Sylvester) Deppe; and a brother, Lyle (Mary Ann) Ties, all of Bellevue.
