It started in Dayton with the play-in games, as we pitted Hercules against Trooper and Charlie against Chopper.
The first weekend had its usual routs of No. 1 seeds over No. 16s, and a sprinkling of upset wins by double-digit seeds. Who could have foreseen Daisy's stunning upset of Duke, for instance?
And in the Sweet 16, what a great battle it was between Max and Bella. I really thought this was the year Lucy would advance to the Final Four, but she's a bridesmaid yet again.
But now we approach Final Four Weekend, and as usual, the survivors are the elite names: Fido, Rover, Spot and Buddy.
