Health.com is out with its list of "50 Fattiest Foods in the States." Iowa's entry comes, of course, from the Iowa State Fair.
It's the Hot Beef Sundae, "An artery-clogging play on the classic hot fudge sundae, this horror was marketed as “a new twist to an old favorite.”
Sorry, but when I think of fair and fat, I think of something, actually everything, deep-fried. The site says this sundae has 28 grams of fat. I don't think that would be hard to beat in just a short stroll/waddle down the Grand Concourse.
And the corn dog is listed under Texas, of all places. Blas-fair-me. Sorry.
