Kathryn R. Miller, 81, of Clarence, died Thursday, March 10, 2016, at UnityPoint-St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at St. John's United Church of Christ, Clarence, by Pastor Tommi Boeder. Burial: St. John's Cemetery, Clarence. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence.
Born April 14, 1934, in Clarence, the daughter of Lavern and Norma (Kreinbring) Kintzel, she married Robert Miller on Feb. 15, 1953, in Clarence.
Kathryn liked traveling with her husband, especially to Myrtle Beach.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; son, Scott of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Debbie Miller of Shoreview, Minn., and Diane (Warren) Koth of Lowden; sisters, Arlynn (Robert) Hasselbusch of Clarence and Marilyn (Blake) Brown of West Union; brother-in-law, Dean Claney of Clarence; grandchildren, Kyle, Kris (Renae) and Megan Koth; and great-grandchildren, Kasen, Kayden, Kael and Rainna Koth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rosalyn Claney.
