Letter: Keep Iowa improving with Gov. Reynolds
Daniel Seufferlein
Sep. 30, 2017 1:00 am
Because of Gov. Kim Reynolds and Lt. Gov. Adam Gregg, Iowa is heading in the right direction.
Our unemployment rate is at a near 20-year low, and while there is more to do more Iowans are working now than at any point in our state's history.
Job growth isn't the only parameter. For example, if we do not have a strong education system, other states will simply outgrow us and Iowa will be left behind. That's why I am proud of Iowa leading the nation in graduation rates.
Also, because of Gov. Reynolds, there is a renewed interest in trade, vocational and other proposals to put Iowans in a good paying job today, tomorrow and for years to come.
